How METRIKA calculates this
Each answer adds a point to one of five money types. Your result is the type with the most points, and your mix shows the share of answers for each type. Ties go to the type you chose most recently.
The quiz is for self-reflection, not a clinical or psychometric assessment. The five types are based on common money behaviours: saving and investing (Builder), security (Guardian), spending on experiences (Enjoyer), entrepreneurship (Hustler), and supporting family and community (Giver).
What to know in Kenya
Money in Kenya is rarely just personal. Chamas, family obligations (often called "black tax"), side hustles and mobile money shape decisions in ways a generic Western quiz misses. METRIKA's questions start from those realities.
Frequently asked questions
Can my money personality change?
Yes. It shifts with income, life stage and experience. Many people move from Enjoyer or Giver towards Builder as responsibilities grow.
Is one type best?
No. Each type has strengths and a blind spot. The goal is to know yours and balance it.
How do I compare with my partner?
Share the quiz and compare your mixes. Couples with different types can plan better when each person's instincts are out in the open.
